My methods and philosophies are based on the United States Police Canine methods. This method of dog training is for all types of dogs, not just police canines. These methods and philosophies work on any and all breeds because all dogs learn the same way, small dogs, medium dogs and large dogs, all dogs learn the same way.

My dog training philosophy does NOT include the following;

First - I do not use any food or treats as a reward because the dog may make a leap and think that it is a paycheck or a bribe.

Second -I do not use any type of fear or intimidation, so that means no heavy handed methods, no shock collars, prong collars, rolled up news papers, spray or squirt bottles, cans filled with coins, nothing that may make the dog afraid of us or afraid of an object. I will be firm and authoritative, but never mean, yelling or screaming.

Proper dog training allows you to spend more time with your dog and makes the time you spend with your PET more enjoyable.
